Discipleship Training School
Next Program: To be confirmed
Our Discipleship Training School (DTS) is a 5-month journey of encountering and being transformed by God. It consists of a 3-month lecture phase, where we dive deep into new topics each week that focus on what it means to be a disciple of God, followed by a 2-month outreach abroad and in Taiwan, where we live out what we have learned through serving and sharing God’s love with those who haven’t heard. This is where the journey begins...
We strongly believe that as followers of Christ we are called to influence every area of society, and surfing communities are an area of society that needs to be reached. We believe that the Surfers DTS will greatly impact Taiwan’s local surf culture and bring transformation not only here but in many other surf locations throughout Asia! Come join us and ride the wave!

Reflection from trip participant -
Shaun // from South Africa, teacher, surfer & shaper (second guy from left in photo)
"My opening statement can be of thanks. Thanking God for the opportunity to go. The opportunity to see the many faces who love Jesus and want to do His will and His work. Regardless of denomination, age, race or background. I was particularly amazed how God can work in the young and old(er) believers as well as the ones who never heard of Him. Worshipping God together, was amazing too, for the same reasons.
As a surfer, it was amazing to be able to share the experience with so many people. Sharing surfing with others was amazing, and seeing the smiling faces as they get up on a wave and.surfing was awesome. There was so much joy. It was actually a miracle that there were ANY waves since it is usually flat on that side of the island. We prayed and had waves for the whole time we taught surfing.
As for the team, it was really good to be able to build on our relationships and expand. Especially getting ready for the whole event. It was quite a mission just to get surfboards donated, and the logistics of the whole operation was a miracle in and of itself.
Personally, it helped my faith to see God's hand in His work and to realize that He works with the small and insignificant things of this world for His great and glorious purpose."
